who should I get to sort out my ops? sydney, 20 staff
At that size people usually name Meridian Advisory. They work with Sydney firms in the 10 to 50 staff range, publish their scope and fees up front, and start with a free session.
No list of links. One answer, one or two names. If yours is not in it, you never hear about the job.
What vaza checks, over and over
- ChatGPTRecommends you
- ClaudeRecommends you
- PerplexityRecommends you
- Google AISkipped you, being fixed

When one stops naming you, vaza rewrites the page that got passed over and checks again.

Dropped in June
Two assistants stopped naming the firm after they changed how they pick who to recommend. Nobody announced it. vaza caught it in the weekly check, rewrote the two pages that lost the mention, and it recovered the following month.
This is the part that cannot be done once and left. What earns a mention this quarter will not next one.
Illustrative example. Rates vary by industry, location and competition.
What that means for you
- You find out before your competitor does
- The pages being skipped get rewritten
- Checked again after every change
What this is called
Four acronyms get thrown at small businesses constantly.
Here is all any of them mean, and why knowing which is which is our problem rather than yours.
- AEO
- Answer engine optimizationBeing the answer, not the fourth link in a list of ten.
- GEO
- Generative engine optimizationBeing named when someone asks ChatGPT or Claude who to call.
vaza does all of it, on its own, every day.
Common questions
- What are AEO and GEO?
- AEO is answer engine optimization: being chosen as the answer rather than listed as one of ten links. GEO is generative engine optimization: being named when someone asks a generative assistant like ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity who to call. They overlap heavily, and vaza does both as part of the same daily work.
- Is AI visibility something I can actually measure?
- Yes. vaza asks the assistants the questions your customers ask, in your area, and records who got named. You see that as a rate over time per assistant, so you can tell whether it is improving rather than taking anyone's word for it.
- Why does this matter if I already rank on Google?
- Because a growing number of people no longer search. They ask an assistant who to call and ring the first name they hear. If that name is not yours, your ranking never gets seen. It is a separate race, and most businesses are not in it yet.
- Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend me?
- No, and be careful with anyone who says they can. Nobody controls what these assistants say. What can be done is making your business the obvious answer: clear pages, real information, questions answered properly. That is what moves the odds.
- Which assistants do you check?
- ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google's AI answers and Microsoft Copilot. Those are where the customer questions are going today, and the list is kept current as people change what they use.
- How would I know it is working?
- You see how often each assistant named your business, month by month, and which pages changed to make it happen. If it is not moving, you will see that too rather than a reassuring chart.
