Improving your site for real people
Turn Visitors Into Customers
Getting found is half the job. The rest is what happens when someone lands on a form that quietly does not work.
One field, three weeks, 23 people
Book a consultation
Invalid
Looks fine on your laptop. Fails on a phone, silently.
Book a consultation
Booked
Same form, one field fixed. Nothing else about your site changed.
- Found
23 people stopped at the phone field, on iPhones only
- Fixed
It was rejecting numbers typed with spaces, and said nothing
- Proved
18% more bookings, tested against the original for 9 days
Example of one fix. Anything that performs worse than the original is undone automatically.
Where they were actually going
One month of your booking page
Real visits, counted at each step
- Opened the booking page412
- Started filling it in168
- Reached the phone field141
- Got past it118
- Booked112
Broken, silently
23 people typed their number, were told it was invalid, and left. The field rejected numbers typed with spaces. It worked perfectly on a laptop, which is why it survived three weeks.
Nobody rings to tell you the form is broken. They ringsomeone else.
Illustrative example. Every fix is tested against the original before it is kept.
What that means for you
- Broken things found before you hear about them
- Every fix tested against the original
- Losing changes undone automatically
What this is called
Four acronyms get thrown at small businesses constantly.
Here is all any of them mean, and why knowing which is which is our problem rather than yours.
- SEO
- Search engine optimizationBeing found when someone types it into Google or Bing.
- CRO
- Conversion rate optimizationNot losing the people who already made it to your site.
vaza does all of it, on its own, every day.
Common questions
- Is this the same as conversion rate optimization (CRO)?
- It is CRO, done continuously by an agent instead of as an occasional project. The usual version is a consultant running a study, handing over recommendations, and someone finding time to build them months later. Here the problem is found, fixed and tested in the same week.
- Why would my form be broken without me knowing?
- Because it usually breaks for some people and not others: one type of phone, one browser, one way of typing a number. It works when you test it, so you assume it works for everyone. The people it fails never call to tell you.
- Will vaza change how my site looks?
- Only where something is losing you customers, and never on a page you have not approved when it touches payments, bookings or forms. This is not a redesign, it is clearing what is in the way.
- What if a change makes things worse?
- It gets undone automatically. Every change runs against the original with real visitors, and the losing version is removed. That check is the whole point, and it is the part most tools skip.
- Does this work if my site is quiet?
- Partly. Broken things get found and fixed no matter how few visitors you have, because broken is broken. The side by side testing needs enough people to be sure of a result, so on a quiet site vaza will tell you a result is not certain rather than claim a win.
